LIONS CLUBS INTERNATIONAL, D404A1 PERFORMS GROUND BREAKING FOR THE BUILDING OF EYE CLINIC IN CENTRAL HOSPITAL, WARRI
The International Association of Lion’s Clubs, District 404A1 performed the ground breaking ceremony for the building of eye clinic in Central Hospital, Warri.
Speaking yesterday 17/11/21 at the Central Hospital, Warri, DG Wagbatsoma in her remarks revealed that is no longer news that Lion’s Clubs is now a regular visitor in the Central Hospital, Warri not because we are sick but because we always come to cover the gap for government via provision of medical equipments for the good of humanity
According to her, in the areas of equipments the Lions club has been contributing little by little but as a District we have come to take a step further towards upgrading and expanding the eye clinic in the central hospital, warri.
She maintained that this Projects will go a long way in helping humanity via alleviating the suffering of the people in the area of vision, she reiterated her commitment towards ensuring that this projects is completed at the appropriate time.
In the same development, the Area leader and PCC, Lion Sam Ekpuk PMJF, NLCF noted that upgrading and expanding the eye clinic in Central Hospital, Warri was borne out of the needs to improved health care for the people adding that a lots of people needs health care and the National health Insurance scheme cannot carter for all.
He congratulated the District Governor, D404A1 Lion Fortune Wagbatsoma for her commitment in achieving results describing her as a goal getter, he expressed confidence that our partners will be with us to see the completion of this projects noting that this is the beginning of a better partnership with Central Hospital Warri.
Also Speaking, The Managing Director, Central Hospital, Warri, Dr Patrick Omu promised to give Lion’s Club the enabling environment to carry out this project, he expressed happiness that this dream is coming to reality adding that he will still be here to witness the commissioning of this project in the next six months as expected, he called on Lion’s Clubs International to keep to their word in line with the stipulated time for completing the project.
The foundation laying was made by the Area leader Lion Sam Ekpuk, the District Governor D-404A1 Lion Fortune Wagbatsoma and other high ranking Lions Present.
